There is a quietness, a rhythm of time passing, a dreamlike or hallucinogenic feel to the work, which sometimes uses ordinary specific words, (a natural inclination given my abiding interest in literature and drama). The work, which is bathed in silences, investigates and plays with ideas of subtle representations and perceptions, its relationship to text, sound, touch, taste, smell, senses most associated with memory. This work includes paintings, drawings, installation and film.
